First post here. I have a question and a slight issue. I recently installed 2" drop spindles from belltech via Norcalss and now I am installed the belltech strut but now my front end seems higher. I put 4 spacers per the instructions but my front end seems higher now. Anyone know if there is a different spacer count needed when you have drop spindles?

Thank you

Do/did you have autoride?

There is no difference in spacer count when you have drop spindles.

My guess is because you swapped springs over to the new struts that they need a little time to settle. Drive it around and hit a few bumps and dips and see if it doesn't settle down.

Thanks for the info. I think I figured it out. I think I put the lower perch on upside down, whoops. Just finished and will install tomorrow to see.

Pic of how it was.

Well she is a little lower in the front now but oh well. I probably raise it up a notch after my trip. Front is n ow 33" and was 34" but I am getting some rubbing at the top of the fender well.

1 Pic with just the spindles and springs then the other 2 (garage pics) are after belltech strut and shocks. And I went to 3" in rear instead of 4" like it was before.

I wonder if lifting the rear up an inch is what's causing the front to rub?

4 (8mm)+ 1 (10mm) spacers per side for stock height non auto ride.

4 (8mm) spacers per side for auto ride.

I am guessing your truck was NON auto ride which would require the extra 10mm spacer on each side to maintain the same ride height you had before.

Also... are both sides the same height up front???

I had auto ride on the Burb and my truck sat lower on the drivers side (GM lean) so I had to raise it a half inch on that side.

OMG, Yes, I looked at the instructions like 20 times and read it as NON to use 4 spaces. Thanks for the input man, really appreciate it. Same height on both sides, my driver rear is slightly lower, 1/4" or so.. I did the rear 1" spacers and rear shocks last weekend, its probably because I didn't put the 10mm spacer on. FML.. Stress and 100 degree temps out side, working in the garage must have made my mind go blank.

Thanks

LOL. you're probably right. I did re-do the spacers. I was missing one of the 10mm in my kit but I just used 5 of the 8mm ones. Now it doesn't rub backing out of my drive way.
