Hi all, this is my first post here. I've been reading for a few weeks now but finally decided to register. I recently purchased a 2007 Denali. My dogs don't seem to like the rear individual seats. They seemed more comfortable in our other SUV which had a bench seat. I was wondering if there is a replacement bench seat for the 2nd row? I looked online but couldn't find any. And since the seat has the auto fold away option, I'm not sure how that effects the capability to add a bench seat. Also, this is a little off topic, but I took my truck in to the dealer for a used car inspection and was told I needd to replace the oil pan gasket and the costs will be $440, including an oil change. Seemed really steep for a piece of rubber so I took it into a mechanic that I know and he said it's not "critical" I replace it, that the oil is just "seeping," if at all, and to just watch the ground as I drive away to make sure I'm not losing oil. So far I haven't seen anything. My question is, does it really costs $400+ to replace the oil pan gasket? And if the rear seat can be replaced with a bench seat, can someone please refer me to the website or retailer where I can get one? Oh, almost forgot, my mechanic said I should check with the dealer and see if there was a recall for a Harmonic Balancer. Not sure what that is but he said I may need to replace it and it might have been a recall. Thanks and sorry for the long first thread.
