I went to set my bench seat down in the 2nd row of my 04 Nali and the cable that pulls on the back release broke so now I have to grab the cable by hand to fold down the rest of the seat. I was wondering if anyone had the part or part number?

i would like to know as well,,,
my wire did not break but the black clip that holds the wire in the lil hole is chipped and giving way
where did your cable break?
but here is an alternative that might work for you that just popped into my head

go to your local bicycle shop and get some brake cables , feed it thru the same housing if not,,use the one provided at the bike shop,,look around the shop and at all the cables and accessories and see whats your best option and im sure with the proper nuts and bolts or maybe even some brake adjuster barrels used on bikes you can get it done,,,put some thought into it and im sure it can be an easy weekend fix

Still no luck in a junkyard. And now my other side of my bench seat broke to. Now neither of my 2nd row seats will lay down. Very inconvenient.

GMPARTSDIRECT.com told me this is the part we would need. This cable is for the big half of the seat.
88938043 Reat seat back latch inboard cable

Just to be certain this is the part that when you pull the tab and set the bench seat forward allows the seat back to unlatch and also the lay forward? Mine is broken on both the two person and one person side. So I have lost all ability to lay down my seat banks in my second row

We actually looking into it all I need to know now is if the same cable will work on the 40% side as well

This will allow the back of the seats to fold according to gmparts direct rep that i talked to, i have the same problem, i have to grab and pull to fold it down. I dont know if this will work on both sides i know it will on the 60. The parts diagram has the wrong part listed for this so they sent me the correct number. I have yet to order been too busy. But i would order one and try it on both sides and then if it works order another if not email them and ask for the # for that part. They are quick and responsive and shipping is also quick.
