Hey guys I installed a kenwood dnx 9140 and it randomly shuts off and the car chimes a few times and the deck restarts (only happens once and a while)

Kenwood says to give it a dedicated powerline not through the factory harness.

My question is where is the best place to get this power from without running a line through the firewall to the batt.

I looked in the fuse block, and there are no empty spaces to tap into.

any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Red wire from the ignition harness. If you remove the driver side knee bolster trim under the steering column, you can get power from the larger red 12ga wire coming from the ign harness that leads to the rear of the fusebox.
