Best sounding exhaust 02 tahoe

Right now I have frush welded mufflers with 5" tips that come out underneath of my stepsides beside my read passenger door. I was wondering what exhaust would be a louder set up. Straight pipes or glasspacks would sound better?

Straights might be obnoxious and raspy so the glasspack may be a better choice

Ive heard good things about magnaflow's magnapack

Youtube is your friend search up tahoe or silverado exhaust and you'll be able to hear straight pipe vs a glasspack

Both packs and straights are obnoxious IMHO unless your motor is tuned with goodies

Get long tube headers with ORY (no cats) and you your current exhaust set up might end up too loud. Many guys on here run 2 mufflers in sequence to quiet down the exhaust after headers with ORY is installed.

As mentioned just above, straight pipes and glasspacks are obnoxious...and in my opinion sound like total crap. But this is preference, I like a nice loud "toned" exhaust not raw and raspy.

How long is your muffler now? The smaller, usually the louder. Also depends on chambers if you have a chambered muffler...1 being the loudes (ie: cherrybomb extreme or flowmaster racemuffler).

I was looking for exhaust to fit on my buddies c5 corvette, ran across some mufflers called "powersticks" made by classic chambered exhaust. This is NOT a glasspack. Look up their website and youtube a few videos...very impressed with the sound for such a low priced muffler.

My mufflers are about 8 inches long, "thrush welded mufflers" what kind of headers should I get?
