I am close to beginning my brake upgrade project. I have heard that it is a good idea to change out the power steering fluid on trucks with hydro boost. What is the best way to accomplish this? Often GM recommends against flushing on these vehicles. Is this the case with the steering fluid?

On other forums guys mentioned doing it with a Turkey baster. Suck out as much fluid as you can with the baster then fill it with fresh fluid. Drive and get it circulated and then suck it out and replace the fluid again. You won't get ALL of the fluid replaced but you will get most of it like that.

That is how I have done it in the past on other vehicles. I guess I will give it a try!
