Any tips on how to paint the chrome perimeter on the grille? I was planning on removing the grille, dress it with painters tape and spray paint it. I have a can of the same paint they used on my wheels (satin black) so it should match pretty well.

I think quite a few people have done it, and I’d appreciate some help on the best way to do it. Thanks in advance!

You need to get a 3m maroon scrub pad and sand the crhomereal good
Then prime it with some self etching primer then paint it you should be good then you can find all those parts at auto zone. Post pics when you get it done

Good stuff - Thank you.

i think this will be my project this weekend...I'm planning on painting just the chrome and leaving the gold bowtie. Kinda like how some of the silverado work trucks are.
