So I have 26's for the wife's yukon. I'd like some more stopping power. Not looking to spend $2k on a brand name brake kit. In that case I don't even wanna spend a grand. Any thoughts?

R1 concepts just came out with a big brake kit im pretty sure. One of our vendors freedom motorsports sells them and his customer service is awesome and pretty cheap too. Most people on here will vouch for their brakes and rotors, myself included. Installed 2 pair myself.
Anything else maybe ssbc brakes might be the next step up

BBKs and <$1k don't go well together. Do you mean rotors, pads and ss lines?

^^ haha ya I see what you mean. BBk are pricey. I'll just do rotors pads, and probably lines instead.

Just doing pads with a higher friction coefficient and stainless lines will make a big difference. Changing the rotors only make a noticeable difference in brake fade if you drive aggressively or track a vehicle.
