Bigger Transmission Cooler

Hello,
I have a 1998, 4-door, 4x4 Tahoe. I currently have 165,000 miles on it and have been looking for ways to extend the life of my transmission. I read that you can put a bigger transmission cooler on and that can extend the life of a transmission. Would a 1-ton Chevy transmission cooler fit my truck? If not does anyone know of a bigger/better transmission cooler that would fit?

Other than that, what are ways that I can extend the life of my transmission other than driving conservatively?

cooler is the same between a tahoe 4l60e and a 4l80e tranny used on a 1-to 454 big block truck with about a 15,000 gvw capacity.

I think one of the most important things is to get it serviced and check the fluid levels.
