Yeah that will work way better.bought a metra DSP and T-harness for it, I have been using hi/lo adapters which works ok but this will give me a multitude of options that can be programmed with a phone app

Been looking for one of these. Bought a highly advertised Chinese brand like 2 years ago. Ended up being total junk. I’d feel better going with a trusted nameadded wireless android auto to the stock radio

if you have a head unit oem or aftermarket that has "wired" android auto then adapter this makes it wireless. your phone must have android 11 or later.Is that for streaming music and btw calls? Got a link?
Been there. More than onceI tried a couple different ways and got hung up either way, o'well kind of glad I didn't get past that spot because there were worse ones ahead
