Hello all - I am brand new to this site. I recently bought a '14 Suburban LTZ as a replacement for my 2006 Honda Odyssey which I have owned since new. I had 18" black TSWs on my Odyssey that looked great (don't laugh) and am looking to upgrade the wheels on my 'Burb.
I have already removed the badging and plan on blacking out the front emblem, but not sure I will go as far as blacking out the chrome on the rest of the vehicle. The ride height will remain stock and I will most likely go with Bridgestone Dueler Alenza tires. I am up in the air still on 20" vs 22" wheels - a bit concerned about the durability of a wheel with a 45 series tire.
First question: How much stronger would you expect one of the rotary forged options (Peak, Mozambique) from Black Rhino to be?
Second question: If I go 22", is there a significant advantage to going with a factory GM wheel (CK162) for durability?
Third question: Any pictures of a 20" Peak wheel? I have searched extensively and not found any.
Options I am considering:
Black rhino Peak in 20" or 22"
Black rhino Mozambique
Black rhino Traverse (there are 2 trucks I see around town already with these though)
GM CK162
Thanks for your help!
