Nylon lock nuts hold better.

I just bought nylon lock nuts and washers.
Should I leave out the washers?

Yeah. I used them on my new panhard when I first put them in and they came loose in two days. Used nylon locks nuts on them (and every single other part of my suspension that I have modified) and they have stayed tight.
Weird because the lock washers worked fine for holding the wheels on my brothers go kart.

They way you are doing them may not work too well.
Instead of using one long bolt, I used 2" shorter ones with a lock nut for each hole.

Ah I see.
That does sound safer. I was just copying the side that still had that bolt.
