Just got this today... Thought I would share my experiences.

I was sick of the worn suction cups and the wires dangling down... I came across this new idea and I had to try it.

They make mounts for most vehicles, and will hold almost any ****** or Valentine. They even have mounts for the scan gauge!!

I opted for the extra Invisiwire - this will let those of us with dimming mirrors power your radar with no cords dangling, by tapping into the factory harness.

Here is what the kit comes with:

And a close up of the mount...

They supply everything you need:

The invisicord:

My Mirror:

The instructions are great, I recommend starting with the wiring:

Tilt your mirror to the passenger side and unplug the harness (be sure your ignition is off...

Following the instructions and the wiring diagram, simply locate the correct wire and put the ends of the Invisicord into them. *DONE*

Next, mount your radar on the BlendMount:

I found it easier to do from the passenger side... tilt your mirror to the driver's side and remove the retianer clip holding the wire onto the stalk.

Now, unscrew the top of the BlendMount from the base, and test fit on the stalk to see if you need the spacer or not (I did):

Now holding the radar with one hand, use your other one to clampm the top back on, making sure to not pinch the spacer...

Almost done... That was the easy part.... Now that you have the mount on, you have to align it...

You can see mine was not straight at first... and you can see that yo ustill have access to all buttons, important on the 9500's.

You will have to loosen the top, slightly and move it back and forth until you get it aligned correctly... The hardest part was having to bounce from passenger to driver's side to get it right.

One tip: move the stalk dead straight to the windshield, or the radar will point left or right. You will also need to move the mirror up and down to get it right.

Here's how mine turned out:

Just to play Naysayer, I would like it better mounted above the mirror. Pretty slick idea though. I love making things wireless. Nice write up.

Get the 9500ix, I have both of them and the V1 is just ugly, false alert mania and perfroms alot inferior to the ******.

I agree... I have had my ass saved with both, but I love the GPS/Speed Display feature on the 9500... Once you take the time to learn to use a radar, you'll never go with out... Unless you live in Virginia!!!

Hmm, English is good, feedback is good, item is in the US, price seems good... I'd say go for it...

Just rememebr if you have never owned a radar, putting it in your rig is not a green light to speed, take some time to learn how to read it...
