blinkers do not work while headlights are on

my blinkers do not work when i turn the knob to turn in the lights. if i try to use my blinker it ethier flashes very slow or stays there dimmly. id love a diagnosis

when your headlights are on it maybe trying to use to much voltage to keep the blinkers from working properly or the blinkers sockets may have shorts in them that's leaking the voltage from parking lights into the blinker system as well. Weirder has happened. Maybe swap in a new flashed incase it may be shooting out as well. Sorry I am not always good at dumping it down. If your voltmeter hardly moves when you turn on heads then I would look into dirty signal bulb sockets.

No switch. Still thinking dirty bulb sockets or grounds. Post your year I will get you a list of grounds numbers and locations.
