So I have had continuous issues with the switch and connector the run the blower motor on my 99 Denali. The connector was melted, so I replaced it, but now it is going through switches like crazy. is there another direction that I should be going? Every time the blower switch stops working, and I pull it to replace it, there are 2 contacts in the switch which appear to be taking a lot of heat, as they actually end up being a different color than the others. Where should I turn next? It is way too cold up here in Connecticut to have no heat.

Thanks in Advance

follow those specific circuits thru out their path and look for loose or damage wiring. ensure the splices you made were in good shape. what color are the wires?

The wires are multi colored, I actually cut the connector out of the left rear door because the connector was the same as the damaged one. Should i order a pigtail in the hope that the wires are exactly the same guage? IIRC there are six different wires with different colors in the connector. Using the wire guage logic, I could track the wires to the two burnt pins to be sure they are the proper guage. i previously checked the connector and all the splices and they were in a good state of repair.
