The last few weeks my blower motor has been intermittent but has always immediately started working correctly. I had searched and figured a blower motor resistor was in the near future. On a trip this weekend, it quit blowing altogether. I stopped in for a resistor and got up early and changed it in the hotel parking lot. Didn't fix it. Thinking that it may just be a bad resistor, I bought and installed a second one. Same result...no fan. I can switch the AC on amd I can hear it kicking in. When I start driving, air flows in through the vents but always quits when I stop. The air is obviously AC cooled air. If you are at hwy speeds, say 45+, it feels almost like normal low. It's cool enough and with enough air flow that as long as you are on the road and not stopping it will make it bearable if the outside temp is 90-95 degrees and comfortable it is under 90. Meanwhile the position of the fan speed selector doesn't matter. Additionally the AC is selectable and lights up even when the fan speed is set to off. I've searched everywhere and don't find anything really similar. Is it the blower? The climate control switch? I'm open to advise. It's a 2003 Tahoe with manual climate control and dual zone sliders.

After checking everything, it was the climate control module. I should have figured that when the AC could be turned on even when the fan was turned off. Changed it in the parts store parking lot and stayed cool the rest of the day.
