Pardon the rookie question guys. My front right strut has kicked the bucket and I need to replace it. It is a Belltech street performance lowering strut which will be replaced with the exact same strut. When I went from factory strut to lowering strut I did have to have the front end realigned. Is realignment required/suggested when simply replacing the strut?

If your just changing the strut and your not removing either control arm then no alignment would be needed. if you do pull a control arm then I would I would align it. I cant remember if the upper or lower control arm is the adjustable one on the NNBS.

there is a 2 year warranty on the shocks and if you keep the same height as now.

Honestly with these having such a low gas charge by design its like having a near dead shock even brand new

I would run them only if I had really large wheels

I went with these shocks because they mainly get very positive reviews and having run them for a few thousand miles I have to say that they do ride great. I'll replace with another Belltech strut but if this happens again I'll not be using this brand again. Not to mention that the strut failed way prematurely. Hopefully the warranty is a solid warranty.
