Book time for engine replacement?

Anyone know the book time/approx cost to have a shop swap an engine in a NBS Denali? I ordered a reman and I'm capable of doing it however I'm lacking time and frankly lacking motivation in this sub zero weather we are having.

Sorry. Didnt put that info because NBS is 2000-2006. Mine is 04 and Denali only comes with the 6.0 and AWD.

OK was just making sure.

Labor time shows 14.8-16.3 hours depending on the three options listed. Most shops are about $100/hr. In labor alone you're looking at ~1500. After thermostat, plugs, coolant, oil/filter, misc items you're probably looking at almost $1800.

It's about average for a V-8 engine replacement really. I'm doing a reman swap on a 2000 Camaro 3.8L V-6 right now with the same labor time.

doing my 03 tahoe 4.8 engine right now at the dealership. got the labor down to 79$ hr. engine, parts such as seals gaskets plugs wires water pump total so far is 5900$
