Bose or no Bose?

I have a 2001 Tahoe LT that i just got a few months back and I'm looking to put my subs in it but I'm curious about a few things... 1. How do I know if I have a Bose system or not? I do have onstar and I did have to cut the pink wire to get sound for my factory door speakers after I put in aftermarket cd player. 2. What size are the speakers and how many are there? crutchfield list 2 differ sizes but they need either brackets or minor altercation done to fit? 3. If I install an aftermarket amp will it affect the factory amp if I have the bose system?

You do not have a Bose sound system.

Bose was only available in the 2001-2002 Yukon Denali and 2002 Escalade. 2003 was when Bose was added to the rest of the full-size lineup.
