i got a 2005 GMC Yukon with the bose premium stereo system. The speakers still work fine but im wanting to get some after market ones instead for it. I had infinity Reference in my Jeep and loved them. What would you guys recommend for the set up i got going on?

Infinity reference 6032, 2ohm. I used them in my front doors, and they sound good and the price isn't too bad. Which ever speaker you choose, make sure it's 2 ohm to be compatible with the Bose system.

I have a 2003 tahoe and had all 4 infinity referrence 6 and a half speakers and they sounded beautiful. I have no bose system.

But my opinion would be to bypass the bose system all together and get a 4 channel amp. 2 ohm speakers are a good advice also. for those go with the infinity kappa component set, i think they do 90 watts rms at 2 ohms.

A little off subject

I have an 03 Z71 with BOSE all of my speakers except my drivers door speaker work perfectly. The drivers door speaker appears to move a little but it acts like it isnt getting enough power to move the speaker... I checked the connection it's good... I Adjusted the radio so it plays in the front left of the vehicle and wiggled the wires that run through the door to the car but same result... So.....

1. Tell me i'm an idiot and missing something stupid (I really like easy fixes)

2. I've heard blown spearks i doubt this is it (removed the speaker and looked it over it doesnt appear to be this)

3. I have a multi-meter but dont know what I should be seeing as far as power out put and well I hate door pannels... I break the plastic tabs all the time so not really wanting to tear apart a perfectly good pannel and make it a bad one...

4. Sorry to post this here but I'm new to the site and could not find how to post a new topic....

Thanks...
