i had a 2004 Tahoe z71 that I sold in Jan 2015. Loved it, but it was time to replace. Between concerns over a new generation release and very high prices, I ended up buying a loaded Toyota limited 4x4 brand new. It was a beautiful vehicle and was competent off road but I hated the harsh ride, uncomfortable seats and smaller size. It's not usually a good financial decision to dump a new vehicle so quickly, only 15k miles but I had enough. Decided I wanted another Tahoe or the Denali, something I've always wanted. At this stage, there were plenty of off lease or used 2015s or 2016s that would have fit the budget but I rented a 2016 for a day and while I liked lots of things about it, the ride was much stiffer than previous generations so I went on a search for a 2013 or 2014 Denali or LTZ, 4wd or awd. Anyway, after much searching and negotiating, I found a beautiful 2013 Denali. It will be my first black vehicle but it was polished to a spit shine and the inside was impeccable. Low miles at 27k and paid kbb "good" trade in value.
