Hey guys, it looks like this may have been covered in other threads, but I'm truly disappointed (enough to want to go back to stock height and cancel the order on my rims) in the ride quality of my 09 Tahoe after installing the 2/3 McGaughy's kit. It included spindles, rear coils and shock extenders. It looks awesome, but the bounce is pissing me off, especially at freeway speeds.

It seems like it's mostly the back that has the bounce and front seems to be fine. Do I need to replace my rear shocks to get the factory ride back? If so, can someone please make a recommendation for what shocks to buy?

Sorry to be a ****** about this, but I'm far beyond annoyed! Thanks in advance!

I had the same problem with my McG rear springs, ended up switching to some Spring Tech ones that were cheap but are considerably better, but I would like to get some Pedders rear springs when the budget allows. The front is deffinately not your problem since your on spindles. You might consider just switching out the rear springs to another brand of springs, I would recomend going with Pedders rear springs with all the good reviews they get.

Thanks preston....so you think if I swap the springs, then I will be fine? Should I also be replacing the shocks?
