So I change all my rotors and pads out this weekend then attempted to bleed my brake fluid. I say attempted because all got all done but my back left wheel bled. The protective cap over the bleed screw was not there and the nipple was all corroded. It was a pain getting it to just loosen, I ended up rounded the nut and having to use bolt outs to loosen. I loosened it very far and still no flow even when forced by pedal pumping, so I'm assuming this bleed screw is corroded shut. This has caused my brakes to be super spongy so I need to remove the old fluid in this line asap.

How difficult is it to replace this screw? Is it as simple as removing and repalcing, how much fluid loss occurs when this is done?

If you were able to loosen, just go get some russel speed bleeders and make it that much easier

Funny thing is that was the conclusion i came too so I was all prepared, remove that old bleed screw and went to rush and throw in the new one and no fluid came out... the bottom of the old bleed screw had corroded to the caliper and that was why I couldnt break the bleed screw loose, not cause the corrosion on the topside! needless to say, off to get a new caliper...just my luck
