Hey forum I have a 01' Tahoe. Shortly after buying the truck both my ABSD and my parking brake lights turn on at random times. The ABS still works and the parking brake is not on. I'm just wondering what this could be and if anyone else had this issue and what it turned out to be. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks Guys,
Loso

FWIW my C5 corvette would trigger its warning lights for handling and ABS programs occasionally when I hit a bump. turned out to be a loose conectoin on the right front wheel speed sensor. I noticed it only when i hit a bump on that one side (and drivng a lowered C5 vette, you noticed ALL bumps...and by bump i mean a 1/2 divot in the road). anyway, i unplugged it, cleaned it with contact cleaner, di electric greased it and plugged it back in and the problem went away.

all that long boring story to say, perhaps a loose abs sensor someplace?

I agree!! I've been working on my front suspension and disconnected my speed sensors to replace the hubs and both of these lights came on. So maybe one of the speed sensor wire(s) have shorted or the connection needs to be cleaned.

It is your abs module, I had rebuilt quiet many of those, you should get code P0265 if you were to scan your truck with a scanner capable of getting abs codes. When that malfunction both lights comes on, abs and brake light, and if your abs pump doesn't stays on all the time even when truck is off, then it will happen soon.
