My fairly new to me 2010 Yukon SLT has no side brake lights, but the high mount works fine. All other taillights seem to be functional as well. I've checked one of the bulbs and brake light fuses and all look fine. I'm pretty stumped.

I read somewhere to check the tail light circuit board, but I'm beginning to wonder if my model has one. I looked online at parts stores and no one had one for my truck, even though a 2010 Sierra has one. I looked under the rear end and couldn't see one.

Anyone have ideas of other things to look at before I resort to taking it to a shop? I don't want to buy if this is a wiring issue then that's what it's going to be. I avoid doing wiring so I can't screw it up.

This looks like the split between the center mount stoplight and the side stoplights. UBEC is your underhood fusebox.
