Brake Lines

Good Day !

Ok So I went replaced all my brake pads today. Wanted to Flush the brake system. However I could not get the caliper screws to come loose . I've Noticed all the brake lines are RUSTED . What Does this Mean " Do I have to replace all the lines and new Caliper?? " Anyone run into this problem? Please Help THanks.

If your very careful you can try and heat the bleeder screw up with a torch and then try and brake it loose when its cooling. I have only done this one time and it worked. Some people will tell you not to do it or that its not recommended. Im sure someone else has done it on here. or may have a better idea as for the brake lines how rusted are they. I just did all of them on an old ford ranger I have.

hey man i would just recomend takin it to a midas or a well respected brake shop.. here in oklahoma midas only charged me like 15 bucks to do a good long gravity bleed.... u can go to ur auto parts store of choice and buy some speed bleeders and when the brake shop is done bleeding ur system they can just throw those on there for ya...

now as far as the calliper goes... i wouldnt worry about them IMO but the brake lines i would def replace... if u hit up a brake shop im sure they can def give u some more input
