No difference in the feel, but the brake pedal is squeaking when I step on it. It doesn't make any noise on the release. Seems to be acting up more in the cold weather. Very annoying. Any ideas on how to shut it up?

A squeaking brake pedal usually indicates a leak in the brake booster if it is a vacuum booster.

A simple check would be to start the truck up and let it warm up to operating temp (5-10 minutes).

Then take a pair of needle-nose pliers and pinch off the brake booster hose that runs to the brake booster. If the idle drops, you have a leaking booster.

Bushing at the booster rod attachment may need lube as #1taho said or also where the brake pedal attaches at the top.
