Hey people, Im New to this forum looking for some serious help!
I own a 2002 Tahoe not to shure on the model, so here's the problem.
20 min or so after have started my drive my brakes start to get harder on every stop, brake pedal seems to lift up lil by lil, as i drive down the road i have to step a lil more on the gas for the fact that it seems like if im holding down the break pedal but im not.. last time i drove my hoe rpm's were close to 4 gran doing about 50mph do to the breaks holding the truck back..
I bleeded the breaks hooping it was that but it just got worse. wat could it be??:(

It sounds like one of your brake calipers is seized up but whats odd is that it takes 20 minutes for the problem to start.

Do you see any smoke when the problem starts? Every seized caliper i`ve ever seen results in lots of smoke and a red glowing brake disc.

I would jack up each wheel and spin it and see if there`s any resistance.

Well the thing is that it seems to be all four brakes.. after bleeding the breaks i drove it for a good hour with no problem I tought I had fixd it.. But then later resulted to do it again.. this time it was really bad I stopd at a light and there was alot of smoke coming from the breaks lookd as if i was doing a burnout.. I pulld over and took a look around each wheel.. it seemd to be doing a poping noise kinda like bubble rap coming from the pads..
I chilld for a good 30 min. Then drove straight home, it seemd to be back to normal but as soon as im getting home the brake pedal gets hard again and pressures the disk to slow the truck down..

If i wasn`t sure what the problem was i would take it to a mechanic and let him diagnose it before you throw money away on parts you don`t need.

Get a price on the parts and labor first and if it turns out to be something you can replace yourself, Then go that route.

I would check with the dealer to see if this is some sort of know defect thats covered by a recal or service bullitin first. You might not have to pay for anything!
