Ok, this morning I bumped my driver side mirror at the entrance of the garage and it broke this plastic socket piece from the motor housing that connects to the mirror glass. There is no damage to the glass or motors. It's just the plastic ball/nub type thing that broke. Apparently that ball/nub goes into the socket of the circular plastic piece that's attached to the mirror glass.

I tried a quick fix super glue technique and sadly it didn't last. Now I have stupid super glue stuck to both the surfaces which will prevent a clean joint.

Need some suggestions on how to remove the super glue from the plastic pieces and secondly something strong to join those pieces together.

Is it possible toI just buy the motor housing cover?

Pictures of the said issue are attached.

Thanks

Acetone will remove super glue. Just be careful not to melt the plastic parts.
