Broken Passenger Mirror

Piece of road debris took out my mirror cap and the glass itself. Rest of the frame is still there and seems to be in decent shape. Power fold works and Puddle light works.

I have done a little searching and see that you can buy just the caps and just the mirror glass. Is it worth going that route or would I have less trouble just buying a complete mirror?

I just replaced mine also on my NBS Denali. I had no choice because my power fold was broken too. But just looking at buying the parts vs buying a 'new to you' whole mirror assembly-I found a complete fully functional one for around $160. Check ebay and you should be in luck.

Appreciate the reply. I ended up going with a new GM replacement from Amazon. Just under $200 after tax, but I got it in two days, so worth the added cost IMO.

The mirror cover is just a black primer, so I would have to paint for it to match 100%.

Does anyone have a black passenger side mirror cover that they want to sell?

I know it's an old thread but I'd be willing to buy the broken mirror from you if it's power folding.

Sorry to dig up this old thread, but I decided to search the forum before posting a new thread.

I had something similar happen to my driver side mirror. I will need to replace the whole thing. The problem I am running into is that my mirrors have everything on them and are chrome. I cannot find one with everything... the closest I can come is one without the signal light on them. I can live without it, but I am concerned about the wiring harness. Are they the same?

If anyone can answer or tell me when I can find an identical mirror, it would be appreciated.
