Had a deer run into our 99HOE and a few others try to race with me while coming home on lunch from work , so it's time for me to purchase a brush guard to protect the HOE a Lil more. Not really sure what to look for, which would be best but one thing i do know is i dont want to hurt my wallet .

SO with that being said any and all information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again

I'm also looking to upgrade my guard as well, chrome is cool and all but i think black would fit the theme i'm going for. Thanks for the links.

a brush guard can do more damage that without one. They will push back into the grill and crush it, and crack the headlights depending on the impact, where as if you clip a deer on the side youd only damage that area. If you want to protect your front end your best bet is an off-road bumper with built in guard, or a push guard which is designed to reduce impact damage.

I could see this happening but the first brush hairs I had from blackhorse held up well when a car backed in my truck caused him 2800 dollars in damage and me just a bumper an of course the grille gaurd

I should also note its much more common with the aluminium brush guards. Steel does holds up better but can be hard to find.
