Hi this is my first post and I`m thinking of buying a new body tahoe with 174k and it has 22s on it also. The engine and trans work great but it does have a few problems like: Loose ignition, missing small interior bits, no radio, and a broken gas guage stepper motor, It also was hit on the doors and was replaced but needs to be painted but the frame is straight but has a salvage title. The good: 3rd row seats included and the leather isn't too beat. So my question is should I buy it? i need a daily beater that would be driven 20 miles a day and am well aware of the mpg and this is the cheapest i could find

For beater than yes. Hell I'd get it and drive to the ground then crush and regain most if not all the money

Sounds like a decent deal if it runs/drives at least somewhat decently.

I paid 2K for my Yukon but with a lot less issues.

don't put a whole lot of money into it. Just get it running and get the doors painted. Remember with a salvage title it is only worth 1/2 blue book. Drive it into the ground, spend your money on gas, not cosmetic items.

No, I know its been a while the gentleman thats selling it still has it held for me. But it needs to be inspected first,so I`m skeptical on it even passing.... does anyone know the checklist for a salvage car inspection in ga
