Cab lights?

Does anyone know about the extra wiring for lights located above the front dome lights? I am working on putting cab lights on and am wondering if this would be a good spot to hook them up to

the front dome light and console are missing in mine, since that’s where DPS puts the light controller. I tapped the wiring for that to add a Soundoff LED light to thecopcar recently.

Surprisingly the red and black were the classic pos and neg. It’s also retained accessory power, so goes off in time or door opening.

The wires shown in picture would allow me to have the existing dome go on and off when I open and close door? What wires do I connect to get it do that

I wouldn't mine installing a red light ticket lamp in my Suburban. It would work out nice for Astronomy and Ham radio ops at night.
