Here's my situation, I may be sent to EL Monte california for a work assignment next year around April. I am not familar with this part of cali. Can someone tell me if this is a rough area? I could be there from 1 to 4 weeks and would have to be out in the field doing installs for phone and internet service. Any help would be great. I missed out on getting the Beverly Hills slot.

Every part of L.A is rough. You just gotta keep your eyes open and watch your back.

El Monte isnt too bad but of course every city has their bad sections.

you're about 10-15 miles away from downtown, it's not the nicest part of LA nor is it the worst part of LA, i guess i would say it's more calmer then parts of LA. You'll be allright man, my father always used to say if you're looking for trouble regardless where you at Trouble will come to you. Let me know when you come down we hold random meets and we could all hang out.

Thanks bro, that it is helpful right there. Your father sounds like a wise man because that is so true. I would like to think that my company would not put its employees in dangerous situations, especially considering this is not my regular job. We are facing a strike so I am in training to cover employees who might go on strike. We'll see what happens. If i do end up going I will hit you up for sure and buy you a drink.
