As some of you know I wasn't very happen with the outcome of the LT's.
The Well I'm currently drilling should wrap up towards the middle of the week, so Hopefully I will spend a couple days in Houston doing some Dyno Runs and Tune comparisons. After all that's said and done, I want to take advantage of being in Houston and check out some speed shops and go ahead with a cam as my next upgrade, maybe squeeze in an install and another tune/pull combo whilst I'm there. As far as a Cam goes, here is what I'm looking for/expect.

: Stock Stall Converter, don't want to drop the funds on that, at least not yet
: Increase in MPG, if possible lol.
: Increase power, really would like low down power/tq say from 800-1000rpm up to the 3500-4000 range if possible. The LT's did pick up on the high side, but did relatively nothing down low (may change after the tune, I hope).
: Trans friendly, I don't need anything super aggressive, not looking for the most HP outta this, just a little added umph.

I will be upgrading push rods, timing gear/chain, oil pump etc etc just for piece of mind, truck has a tad over 140k.

Thanks!

I have the .607/.614 219/227 112LSA comp cam. Drove like stock with the OEM converter in it. Also drives like stock with my 3000 stall Circle D converter

Great low end power and a brutal mid range.

Hmmmmm..... I may go that route if its not too harsh with the stock converter.
Loss or gain in MPG?

Well Ive seen cams that advertise " good for MPG" lol. I question the validity in those statements. I AVERAGE less than your city MPG lol.
