Camshaft suggestions

Can anyone suggest a good performance cam for a 5.3? I need something that will add some power but won't drain my wallet.

Assuming you have an NBS with a Gen III motor, you could drop in a factory L33 camshaft for some gains and a large savings over say a camshaft from the aftermarket. Crane/Vinci offer the 1449451/MTR065 camshaft whose specs are 200-208 .502-.502 115. Cam Motion has two very mild camshafts that make lots of torque down low as well with .501 lift.

With all of these, changing the valve springs is not necessary.
