Can’t find new button for liftgate, 2005 TAHOE I need the button and the piece that attaches to it that works with the actuator HELP I need to order a new one and I can’t find it

If yours is apart, post a pic of what you're looking for. You may need to visit a salvage yard, UPull, or www.car-part.com to find what you need. I'm not familiar with the internals of the liftgate; maybe someone else will chime in.

Curious, does your button have a key slot, or is it just a solid pushbutton?

This video seems to show the entire mechanism, with the actuator and the rod that goes to the button that releases the glass.
