I have a 95 GMC Yukon with a completely stock 350 and I want to put a much better engine in it. What do you guys recommend? A crate motor designed to replace it (OBDI) or something like an LT1 Corvette engine?
Let me know, Thanks!

I say a 5.3 or a 6.0 that sort of swap is not hard, and you can keep ur factory computer. Also those motors are dime a dozen in salvage yards

95 is OBD1 TBI 350. he'd still have to swap computers to get a newer 5.3 or 6.0 to work as i understand it.

:Stupid Me: Oh yeah his is a 95. The 5.3/6.0 setup I'm talking about keeps the stock computer though, for everything that doesn't have to do with the new motor. The only problem I think there would be is how the the engine sensors relay their info the OBD1 comp. Idk, let me see if I can find out from the guy who did the swap on the 97 :hmm:
