The resistors I have on my G4's are from vled. This weekend my passenger side developed hyperflash. Is it common for these resistors to go bad?

Yes they can go bad-how frequent-not sure. My work truck needs resistors for the rear led lights and I have gone thru 2 on each side already. I'd just pick a replacement and a spare and swap it out. Now if you keep burning them up-then I'd be concerned ;)

I have v-leds' resistors on my Denali for my front and rear turns and have no issues(for reference)

Some resistors wont conduct when they burn out. i dont know the types.

If its burns out frequently this is because too much applied voltage or too much current through it. So basically incorrectly sized.

Thanks for the responses fellas! :Handshake: I did some testing on this tonight and it looks like my issue is caused by a burnt out reverse bulb! :) so I'll be getting a new bulb tomorrow and get her fixed back up :) I didn't know that the whole light assembly was dependent on that bulb. When I put the burb in reverse that whole left side goes out in the back  I learned something new! :)
