So as many of your know, I'm rebuilding my 2001 Tahoe. I think it's par for the course to have more fasteners when you finish than when you started. However, I don't much like that. I thought might be helpful to start a thread where we can help each other identify pesky fasteners and connections we cannot figure out. *ahem* starting with mine :)

NUMBER 1: This bold I had labeled in a bag during my engine built. It was in the AC bracket bag.

Or is it for the grounding point on the rear driver side of the motor?

NUMBER 2: The transmission lines for the transmission cooler run under the front core support. Is this how they should be? Or is there something to protect the rubber portion from rubbing on the frame rail?

NUMBER 3: I disassembled the core support, including the plastic frames that hold the headlamps. I put all the bolts in a bag. There's a star / torques bolt though. I don't know which hole it belongs in...

NUMBER 4: The headlamp wiring harness runs along the bottom, backside of the core support (below the radiator). There are two gray cinch clips at either end of the core support (right above the frame rails). I'm not sure what they are supposed to hook to?

#2- looks like a blind hole bolt. #3-Try a double Tyrap- then tyrap wears not hose. #4- Looks like a stepped shank plastic bolt. #5- If they have the barbs, look for the corresponding hole, if not, look for cable or wire usually ground that uses them external to convoluted tube. If I see one I'll take a pic. Good luck!

Awesome thanks for the help! Curious though? Which numbers do are you referring to?

I'll go back and number the photos
