Ok so I have had this code P0449 for about 4-5 months doesn't hurt the car at all. So just this weekend got around to doing this since I want to use my remote start again since it is getting cold. So Replaced the EVAP CVS valve that goes above spare tire and also the harness. Started car up after disconnecting battery and same error. Got a code reader from friend and has same code. So talked to a buddy that works at chevy and says try to replace purge valve on motor so did that and pulling same damn code. I have cleared it and comes right back on after starting car. I am at a lost I have done everything this error can consist of. I am going to check a little later today the power going to the harness. That is the only thing I can think of. If anyone else has any input that would be great.

SW CT,
Could possibly be that the code reader you are using cannot clear EPA codes.

Did you replace the entire assembly or just the valve? That could be your issue. The replacement assembly is designed differently, because a design flaw is to blame for the original faulty assembly.

The codes would clear after the vehicle was driven for 80 miles anyway, assuming that the problem has actually been fixed. He said that he had even disconnected the battery, which would have also cleared the codes.
