Captain chair swap question.

I found a guy who wants to trade my bench seat for his second row buckets. He has an 07 Escalade and I have an 07 LTZ. Does anyone know if those are the same seats? Both trucks have heated and power fold and are the ebony leather.

Not the same seats. Im pretty sure the leather is of different quality. 99% sure!

Oh I thought you were asking if the wiring would work between seats when you PM'ed me. Yeah the quality is a lot different. If he's local go and compare them to make sure, or find one at a dealership.

All seats in the esky's are different. They have no center seat stitch like the tahoe's and yukons have. Plus I think they are perforated in the middle of each seat. The only esky leather colors that match are black and tan the Platinum edition has the upgraded leather.

Yes, they are perforated in the centers. Some LTZ's have this as well though.

Are all Eskys perforated? I looked at a pic of an 07 this morning and it looked like they were the same seats for the most part. Never saw that it was perforated.

Just got off the phone with the guy. His seats are perforated. Sucks, it would have been an easy swap, he lives less than 5 miles away.

Yes most pictures you can see the center part of the seat has perforations (the pixel distortions) This is a 2007 escalade. 2009+ Tahoe's and Yukons have perforated seats with the added cooled seats.

One guy flaked out, the other had tan. I'm so bummed out, I really thought I had that lockled down. Oh well, the joys of Craigslist.
