captain seats to bench seat

I want to change my 96 tahoe front bucket seats with a front bench seat with middle seat/console, Has anyone done this if so what seats did you use and what years are compatible.. also would there be any fabricating involved since ill be adding a middle seat and removing the original captain seats

I haven't done what you're talking about, but I'm trying to to do just the opposite. I've got the 60/40 front seat and I'm looking to replace them with buckets. I think any 93-99 Tahoe/Yukon/Suburban will work. There would be some work to the middle of the truck to mount a 60/40 set up in vehicle with OEM buckets. The 60 bench portion attaches on the door side and on the top of the hump. I'm sure you could easily fabricate a frame piece to secure the right side of the seat. Hope this helps. If you're still looking for a seat and a 60/40 would work maybe we could work out a trade. My seats are tan leather and need a little work, but aren't trashed.

i would but mine are gray cloth.. i want to keep the cloth through out
