Hey Erik,
I have a fair amount of experience with floor mats as I used to detail vehicles for GM.
I've been looking for a nice set of carpet mats for my Tahoe but haven't been looking hard as I have a few things id like to put into the truck first.

As far as the mats from GMPD, they are terrible. They don't come matched exactly the same color as your carpet (if you have anything other than black) and they tend to discolor. Mostly they trap the color of the dirt that gets on them. I have found it doesn't matter what cleaner or how much water pressure you use they will never go back to the original color.

Next are the ones from eBay... They aren't an original GM product, but I actually believe if you're interested in the mat saying Tahoe, GM sells mats with badging, it will say Tahoe parallel with the door sil. They might be a bit costly though.

Third the Lloyd mats... Man they look like they make nice mats! I didn't look at the prices but I think I might have to get myself some!!

All in all I would say don't get the ones from GMPD, get factory GM ones with the badging, or get Lloyd mats.

I have the OEM mats that came with my 2011 Tahoe http://www.gmaccessorieszone.com/Ch...r/Floor+Mats+-+Front+Carpet+Replacements/2010 and they match the carpet (Cashmere). I don't have any trouble getting them clean but I clean them on a regular basis. I had the OEM mats in my 02 Yukon for 9 years and they looked really good when I traded it except for a little wear where my heel rested. I think most of the carpeted mats are made fom Olefin (polypropalene) which is a hard wearing colorfast fiber.

The original ones are great. Im even looking for the original mats for my tahoe, but i havent had much luck.
So you are looking for a replacement mat that will trap more water?

I don't know why you can't find them. The GM accessories site says they "duplicate the original production floor mats exactly". I searched on the part number and came up with hundreds of places that sell them.

Llyoyd mats have a very good reputation on some of the other boards I'm on, never heard anything negative (aside from the price).

I ordered my whole new carpet for my 07 with matching mats. Fitted mats. Pick any color u want and they send free samples. Good stuff. I'd say alot cheaper than gmpd too....I wouldn't buy anything from gmpd if u paid me to btw ever again. Their customer service is terrible. If you have a problem they wont do a thing to help you. I won't even go into the nonsense i had to deal with.

Out of those choices I'd go Lloyd but I'd personally go WeatherTech DigiFit mats! :deal: They look great and are easy to keep clean!
