Castrol GTX Ultraclean

Has anyone used Castrol GTX Ultraclean? Looks like it replaces Castrol GTX which is what I was using.

Never heard of it. I'm using GTX High Mileage, wonder if they have the Ultraclean version?
Edit: it looks like it isn't available in the US. I see it in India and S Africa, only in 5w-30.

I used to be using the regular Castrol GTX went to pick some up for an oil change and all the have is Castrol GTX Ultraclean or the High Mileage I run the 5w30 it's not even GM approved gonna return it and get the HM one how do you like it?

That's weird - if you look at Castrols US website they don't list it the Ultraclean. Where are you located? The HM works great for me.

I'm located in Connecticut here it is on Autozone's website



It looks pretty good just not a fan of it cause it's not GM certified maybe because it's too new, I like the things HM oil includes but not a fan of how it swells up the seals doesn't really use any oil now so not sure if it's worth the jump
