So ive noticed that my exhaust is smelling odd. Like A bad cat. No Dtcs. I wonder if it has anything to do with the BB tune. Im just curious if anyone else is like this. Srtong Sulfur like smell. Since i have no dtcs, Im gonna run it until one comes up

I don't have a bb tune yet but every once in a while I get a similar smell. Not sure what's causing it yet as I can't repeat it at will at this point.

Does it smell like that all the time or just during startup? Also which brand/octane gas are you using?

Took me about a minute to figure out you weren't talking about the animal when you said your truck smelled like a "bad cat". I was thinking, what's a "bad cat" smell like? I know what a wet cat smells like, but a "bad cat"?

Lol. Well a coworker behind me said when i Punched it out of the lot, he was behind me and said it stank and make his eyes water...LOL. Theres no Black soot or build up on the bumper. I use Shell and its tuned for 87 right now with the ocasional use of E85.

Bump!! My stupid truck stinks like sulfur pretty much all the time as far as I can tell. I run 89 or better all the time. My bro in law says his 07 has never had that smell. This truck is beginning to piss me off......

At startup, IMO this is a normal condition. From my understanding, the engine is running a little rich at startup and it takes a few moments for the cats to warm up for max efficiency.
