Hey guys, I'm looking to fabricate a brushguard mount for my 4ft cb antenna. I'm just brainstorming on ideas on how to get it mounted, if you have any suggestions that would be great.

One you dont want to mount your antenna to the front of your vehical..
you will be directional to the rear.
Your forward gain will drop off tremendously

Do you have roof racks still on?

heres some Antenna mounts for you to look at.

Im looking for a motorized Antenna mount that folds down when not in use right now.
I had link to it saved for when I get around to installing my ranger 2950, But like anything when youneed it you cant fiond it

Dope. I replied in your other thread. I found it first.

Same principle. Don't mount on the brush bar. You have no ground plane. Smack dab in the middle of the roof is the best location for reception and transmission distance.
