I have an '08 Z71 Tahoe and after spending some time on this forum I decided on looking to have the CCM 2.5/1.0 leveling kit installed. So, I called around to a couple of place in Portland, OR to inquire. Neither place had ever heard of CCM. What gives? One guy said he has been installing leveling kits for 12 years and had never heard of CCM. He suggested I go with a ReadyLift leveling kit that can do the same thing as the CCM. Now I'm confused. Any thoughts?

i just installed my CCM leveling kit about two weeks ago, I have heard great reviews on this forum. Given that this is a Tahoe/Yukon forum I went ahead bought the kit.

They don't sell them and likely just sell what ever their catalog shows. You have to remember just because they sell and install leveling kits does not mean that they pay attention to or even care about them.

I would definitely go with CCM if I knew a shop in Portland, OR to buy it from. It looks like I am going to have to go with a ReadyLift kit. It will cost a bit more but I haven't seen anything too negative on them.

You could order it online and install it in your driveway. its no more than 9 or 10 bolts for the front on each side. dont know about the back since I haven't installed it yet. lol

Put mine on one evening...no problems.

Removed it the next night...just as easy!
