I had previously had an AEM air intake installed on my 07 tahoe for several months with no issues. Gas mileage seemed to have decreased after the initial install so I switch back to the stock intake for the past month or so. Still poor mileage (average about 14-14.5) with stock so I put the AEM back on last night. Today I get a check engine light with P0455 and P0449 both about the evap system with one saying large leak. Tahoe still runs fine. Could I have done something putting the intake back on that caused this or would this just be coincidence that the light came on after the intake install.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery? Doing so may reset the CEL. Worth the shot and easy to do. Good luck!
