Center Console Question!

New guy here to this forum! Just picked up a 2006 Tahoe LS and I am a little confused about the center console that came with it. It looks just like the earlier models I have seen pre-99. Did any of the later models have the same console? The only reason I am even putting any effort towards this is because this console has a couple of broken pieces and I was going to replace them. If its wrong I would just assume source the correct console. Any help would be appreciated!!

Yes that is the incorrect center console that is for 95-99 truck not sure of the part number for the newer body style but check eBay or your local boneyard...

Yes that is definitely an OBS center console. Given the design of the bottom of your dash I'd presume that from OEM it had a folding center console between the seats that didn't connect to the dashboard since you have the bin and cigarette lighter on the dash. It looks like this

how hard is it to get this in tan? i have a 01 ls and would much prefer this on over the one i have in it now that is just the lil cubby with the cup holder... also how difficult is it to swap the locks on them on a scale 1-10? im pretty hands on so it shouldn't be that bad once i can fine the one i want.

yea usually only ones i find on there are black or broken and missing pieces
